Our resistance fighters
New grape varieties for the viticulture of the future
At Pierre & Antonin, we’ve chosen to blaze our own trail. Inspired by nature and today’s challenges, we’ve turned to resistant grape varieties: innovative varieties that enable us to produce natural, authentic wines that respect the living world.
Meaning?
an immune cross
A resistant grape variety is a super-variety resulting from a natural cross between a European vine (the one we know so well for its oenological qualities) and a wild American vine. It is produced by manual pollination (no genetic manipulation here)!
up to 15 times Fewer treatments
Fewer products, less water, less time spent in the vineyard… and therefore less impact on the planet.Cleaner, simpler, more resilient viticulture in the face of climate change.
pollination manual
This natural crossbreeding is achieved by hand pollination (no genetic manipulation here!). Just as Syrah is born of a marriage between two ancient grape varieties.
Disease-resistant
A natural cross between a European vine (known for its oenological qualities) and a wild American vine, naturally immune to the vine diseases powdery mildew and downy mildew.
Our approach
Natural wines,
beyond organic
With us, the process goes all the way:
- Organic farming on all our plots
- No oenological inputs or added sulfites
- 100% natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts
- Eco-designed packaging, from glass to label
The wines
our 3 supers résistants
At Pierre & Antonin, all our wines are made from naturally resistant grape varieties, but each one has its own personality! The Petit Sauvage range range expresses the fruit in all its freedom, without inputs or artificialities. Our Pet Natrange, fresh and thirst-quenching, sparkle naturally thanks to an ancestral fermentation process. As for Bouquetour delicate rosé, combines elegance and lightness, perfect for thirsty summer days. Three styles, one vision: lively, committed wines.

Our history
Pierre & antonin, friendship in a bottle
Pierre Caizergues and Antonin Bonnet met in New York on July 4, 2010. The ideas were flowing, and so were the cannons!
They talk about the Midi, the Mediterranean, and the future of this Occitan and Cathar South of France. Antonin, from AOP Larzac, and Pierre, from AOP Malepère, have it in their blood! Their grandfathers and fathers were very involved in local viticulture.
However, Pierre & Antonin have a free hand: they create “vins d’auteur”, “vins de copains”, rebellious, lively wines in which they fully express their avant-garde, innovative vision.
Their challenge: to produce natural wines accessible to as many people as possible!
